Ieder mens heeft recht op degelijk onderwijs. Toch heeft meer dan de helft van de Birmezen geen kans op onderwijs na hun tiende.
Sinds de studentenopstanden van 1996 werden de meeste universiteiten gesloten uit angst voor meer acties van studenten.

Om dit menselijk drama onder de aandacht te brengen organiseren wij flashmob-gewijs een lesuur over Birma voor de gebouwen van de Ambassade van Birma (Myanmar). We spreken af aan het metrostation Diamant op woensdag 9 december om 11u. Van daaruit gaan we in groep naar de Birmese Ambassade, Boulevard Général Wahis 9, 1030 Brussel. Iedereen wordt ook gevraagd om een stoel of ander zitje mee te brengen.

Every one has the right to get reasonable education opportunities. Still more than half of Burmese people do not have the chance of going to school after their tenth birthday.
After the uproar organized by Birmese students in 1996 the government forced most of the universities to stay closed untill now because they fear more student resistance.

To bring this human disaster in the picture we organize a flashmob for Burma. On dec 9th at 11am we will have one hour of school lesson on the subject of Burma.
We will meet each other at Diamant subwaystation in Brussels at 11 am from their on we'll go in group to the Burmese Embassy Boulevard Général Wahis 9, 1030. We hope everybody brings a chair or another usefull thing to sit on.
