A yearly event worth going to.
Set up a stall or just have fun in the gardens.
Each year residents of Helperby love and prepare their gardens for "Hidden garden"
The main street is then closed to stalls , activites and music.
There is also lots going on at the curch , singing in some of the gardens , pleanty for the kids to do .

The Hidden Gardens of Helperby
Attractions for ALL the Family!
Gardens in Brafferton & Helperby open to the public
Other Attractions: Bouncy Castle, Brass Band, Swing Band,
Hand Bell Ringers, Morris Dancers, Choir, Dog Show, Recorders,
Ride-on Miniature Railway, Art Exhibition, Photography.
Stalls: Books, Bric-a-Brac, Plants, Jewellery, Gifts, Cakes, Tombola, Cards, Local Produce…and MORE!
Refreshments: Beer Tent, Delicious Homemade Lunches and Teas, Strawberries & Cream, Barbecue and Ice Creams.
Something for all ages – everyone welcome
Adults £3.00, Concessions £2.00, Children 12 & under FREE.
Free parking – Disabled Access
The villages of Brafferton & Helperby are approx. mid-way between Boroughbridge & Easingwold.
his annual event offers the opportunity to see behind the façades of these very attractive villages, where several residents have agreed to open their gardens to the public.
The open gardens are not the only attraction. There will be a street fair on Main Street, with stalls selling books, bric-a-brac, cakes, gifts, plants, jewellery, local produce and other items. There will also be a tombola and a raffle.
Attractions will include Bouncy Castle, Brass Band, Swing Band, Hand Bell ringers, Morris Dancers, Choir, Dog Show, Recorders, Ride-on Miniature Railway, Art Exhibition and Photography.
The inner person will be well catered for by a beer tent, homemade lunches and teas, ice creams and strawberries & cream.
Adults £3.00, Concessions £2.00, Children 12 & under FREE. Parking is FREE.
The event raises funds for the churches of Brafferton, Myton and Thormanby and other local village associations.
