I have a mission. My mission is to emancipate the piano. I'm just bored of the fact that many people reduce it to the symbol of classical music and that the piano is often only used as an accompaniment. But it has so much more to be shown, to be played out loud in the world. I want this instrument to sound progressive and new without losing its classical worth. So I gave it an individual place next to my voice to compete with it. It became the most important instrument in my songs and it is definitely not replaceable. Today I play it the revolutionary way.

There is no genre where my “prog-piano” is home and none where it's not. Is there any law in the world that says that Rock music has to be played by guitars? I don't think so. The piano and me – we can play it twice as hard. :) (read less)
